Greetings, gentle friends of ok city ok.
As you can see from the slapped-together flyer at left, ok city ok will take yet another step out of its shell, as follows:
April 20 (Sun) @ Koenji High
19:00 ok city ok
20:20 The Shakes
We will rock, you will observe and approve of this rocking. The rocking shall include new songs. Then we shall all drink together like heroes.
A map to the venue (in Japanese) is here, or check this out:
Take the South Exit from JR Koenji (Chuo Line), turn left off the rotary, going past the Yonchome Cafe, and head down the hill. Turn right on the street going between the karaoke place and the park. The club on the right, in the concrete building at Koenji Minami 4-30-1 (Tel 03-5378-0382).
Y2000 Advance (contact ok city ok)
As always, count on a Y500 drink charge.
May 31 (Sat) @ Planet K
June 12-15 @ North By Northeast Festival 2008
Toronto ON Canada (venue TBA)
We were sort of featured on their front page, last time we looked.
Department of Goddammit, April-May 2008:
We were invited to Delaware, USA for the Dewey Beach Popfest in April. We couldn't go because of probable visa hell.
We were subsequently invited to Liverpool, UK for the Liverpool Sound City Festival (sponsored by NME goddammit goddammit goddammit) in May. We can't go beacause Mark has to work the dinner shift at Les Amis*.
* Inside joke: Do not attempt to understand.
